Dear Alumni,

XLRI Jamshedpur announces a national level competition, called  Innovation4Impact ,  inviting social innovators, microfinance practitioners, impact investors, and micro-entrepreneurs who have made a difference to the life at the bottom of the pyramid, by linking finance to livelihoods. The competition provides an opportunity to innovators and social entrepreneurs to demonstrate their success stories to experts and jury members of the event, students and faculty of XLRI, and the delegates of the workshop. The event is also widely publicized using web as well as media.

The competition is being held along with the 2nd Workshop on Inclusive Finance, scheduled during September 13-15, 2013 at XLRI Jamshedpur. The details of the event and submission procedure are provided in the link http://inclusivefinance.in/i4i.html

The broad theme of competitions may include the following:

  • Innovations in Livelihood Initiatives with Finance
  • Innovation in Financial Inclusion by Banks/Institutions
  • Rural Micro Business (Producer's Group/Cooperatives)
  • Innovations in Micro Credits, Savings Insurance
  • Livelihood Finance Innovation for the Ultra Poor
  • Innovative Ways to Financial Literacy Initiatives
  • Product Innovations in Financial Inclusion
  • Micro Insurance & Community Based Insurance
  • Technology & Financial Inclusion
