XL Happy hours - 3-September @ Bangalore Club

Folks,

It's been a while since the XL Big Bang and the Seniors get-together at the Bangalore Club.

Time to meet again and plan for 'The Joy Of Giving Week", which XL has been championing In Jamshedpur for many years and which we are now supporting through all the XL Alumni Chapters across the country. Suvro Raychaudhri will be the Project Facilitator for the XLBang initiative.

The Joy of Giving Week is India's "festival of giving"!

Launched in 2009, the festival is celebrated every year, in the week including Gandhi Jayanti, i.e., October 2-8, and brings together Indians from all walks of life, to celebrate "giving". From auto drivers to CEOs, school children to celebrities,  homemakers to opinion leaders, millions of people give their  time, money, resources or skills back to society- by creating or  participating in "events" of their choice. 

A giving event could be as simple as a family taking out the maid's children for an ice-cream party, or a larger initiative with a wider socio-economic agenda.

 Please do write in with your thoughts and help firm up plans for the Joy of Giving Week.

We also have Prof Sharad Sarin  in town next week, which  provides us another reason to get together.

When : 3rd September(Tuesday), 7:30 pm onwards

(That's when Prof Sarin is available)

Cover charges : 400 Rs per head

Beverages at Rs. 70/-
