Dear Xu,

I selected one significant cluster and then pick in the "Pick/Cluster info" button. Now the program show to me information about this cluster such as the brain regions that are included in this cluster as well as the number of voxels located in the gray and white matter. I would like to choose the aal regions.

However I noticed that there is not a correspondence between the SPM and the xjview report in the number of significant regions included in that cluster. In the case of SPM result table (16) (please, see the attached image) and the number of "aal" regions that xjview shows for this cluster (28).

SPM results table only shows 16 local maxima more than 4.0 mm and xjview shows more aal regions.  What brain regions should I report in my study, the 16 regions of SPM or by contrary the 28 aal regions of xjview?

In case that I can report the 28 aal regions of xjview, is there any way to obtain automatically the MNI coordinates of that aal regions showed in the xjview report that appears in the Matlab command window?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Steve,

The number of local maxima reported by SPM is not related to the number of voxels in a certain brain region reported by xjview.

I think the "cluster" you pick might be too big (K_E=13616). The report by xjview is not meaningful for such a big cluster.
