Error opening xjview

Hello,

I've been having errors opening xjview. I followed all the instructions provided including adding xjview to my MATLAB path, adding the files to the canonical folder, etc. When I type "xjview" to open, MATLAB just stays "busy" and doesn't open it at all. Any known solutions to this? Thank you in advance.
