Dear Xu

Hi,

I have a question about number of slices: MNIT1512 used in xjview has 91*109*91 slices (2*2*2mm). If I want to use MNI 53*63*46 (3*3*3 mm) should I change the spacing in the code or should I use the resliced image instead of MNIT1512?

By using either of these ways, does the xjview show the MNI coordination and anatomical regions correctly?

Thank you,

Best Regards

Meri

#1. You don't need to change anything

#2. Yes, xjview will show the coordinates/anatomical regions correctly.

Hi,

Thank you. So if I’m right, you mean that if my image is 3*3*3 (53*63*46) then xjview will resliced the background MNIT1 in order to match the image?

Best Regards,

Meri

Meri,

Sorry for the late reply. I was out of town.

xjview won't reslice (or modify) your image. Most functional images have lower resolution than the background template and it works fine. (I know at least 4x4x4 or 2x2x2 images work fine) So I think 3x3x3 should work fine but as I don't have a 3x3x3 image I can't test. If you find out the answer please let me know.

Xu
