iam working in a cell phone retail shop, i bought an ipad mini from one of my customer & i restored it (ios 7). now it is asking for the icloud id, but i don't know the icloud id of that customer. How can i solve this issue?

Contact the seller to either provide the password to remove AL on the device itself, or get them to remove it from thier iCloud account online. Without the previous owners password or cooperation, there is no way to de-activate Activation Lock. Apple will not help you either - only the previous owner can do anything about it for you.

I also face same problem. I'm factory reset my aunty Ipad mini. Last time I create an email, apple ID for her together activate Find my Ipad. Now even me and my aunty also forget the password that I create for her. plus no full email address can view after reset it. Apple really make high security on ipad but it create trouble to us.

for us like savvy people then ok. but how to old people. but loves apple products. they just know how to use it. sometimes they also cant remember much. how many of us daily use our apple id password?

in my country, we bought phone then register with telco. we paid a full price of the phone. then phone is ours rite?? . whats gonna happen next to the bloody phone is our responsibility. even we cant claim the crack screen of iphone like US user did.

Thank bro, someone dont know we just solve others people problem. We are helping them, old people and young kid dont know the serious problem of simply create an apple ID and activate find my ipad. They even dont have an email account.

Downgrade to 10.3.3 and activate thats what i did and also changed serial number for good measure!

This order worked for me

Change Serial Number VIA Purple Mode or Remove Nand and Write new one

Then disable Cell

Then use VIEUX to force a downgrade to 10.3.3 takes numerous attempts but the good new you dont have to keep going into DFU

Another script that i messed with and helped a lot was 10.3.3 OTA downgrader it will loop over and over tell it gets it so you can walk away for a day and come back!

Then you should be at 10.3.3 activate!

About to try and upgrade IOS see what happens i guess because i sell this thing i know some one will do it hehe :)

You could downgrade first but then trigger DFU over and over got old so i did cell disable DFU first upgrading back to IOS 12 it looks like it works just fine it most likely due to the fact that not only is cell gone but serial number is changed and i changed the model number to non cell the one right down below it 1474 (UDID Changes at this point) looks good and working! there is my contribution to the scene good luck! Now as far what would happen if ya just did a factory reset no idea!!! As activation occurred in 10.3.3 thats my 2 cents im outy!!!!

Do you know way for iPad Air 2? I tried downgrade with SunSt0rm but i have new firmware in SEP (Secure Enclave Procesor).

Checkra1n is possible way, but checra1n its only modify system and system no need activation.

Hello, I have two iPad mini 4 (Wi-Fi only) logic boards. One is iCloud unlocked but is completely unrepairable. However, the chips are still good. The other one is in good shape but locked My question is: Can I simply swap the iCloud locked NAND from the good board with the good NAND from the broken board? Is it necessary to reprogram the good NAND chip even if it is iCloud unlocked?

That is quite straight forward if you have a PCIE nand reader and some soldering skills. You will also have to convert to wifi only but its a simple resistor removal and wifi ic change. I can do it for 100 bucks.

How can I unlock iCloud from my iPhone without losing the information found in it? I have tried with many methods watching tutorial videos and I have not succeeded, they recommended these pages to me:

Removed right resistor,followed all instructions,rebooted everything fine

Except screen goes black after 10 sec. Touch still works.everything else too.

Hi have an iPad Air (1475) with icloud lock on. Its running iOS 12.1.1. If I remove resistor r1506, will it activate? And I will only be able to use wifi (no Bluetooth or cellular) Please confirm. Thanks

what is the model of your ipad?

The iPad in my experience is very picky about what cables it will restore with. Error 9 is almost always related to the cable, NOT the dock connector/flex cable. Use the official Apple cable if you still have it, or borrow one from a friend.

hello pavel, a couple of weeks ago I had my ipad mini 2 cellular without being able to activate because of ios 11, I had bypass then an acquaintance told me to unlock it and did it, how could it have been possible?

Could someone please measure the resistance in ohms on both sides of these resistors and publish it? This would help me quite a bit trying to find the right resistors in the new A10 series ipads (A1709 for example)

Do you think it would work with the lightning to micro usb adapter instead of the usb camera adapter? Also, do you think it would it matter if i use generic brands for the usb adapter and the ethernet adapter? Thanks!

Yes you need to change the wifi ic to the appropriate model for your now wifi only ipad. It is slightly different (but use same pads so can be changed) so the firmware will not work until its changed out. You can find these on aliexpress for about 20 USD

Thanks for your hard work here! Something that would be really nice would be the resistance measurement on both sides the resistors so that it would be easier to pinpoint the ones that need to be removed/bridged in future models of ipads

pavel saludo perform the work of icloud on an ipad air a1475 the ipad is perfectly unlocked but you do not want to activate with the latter ios 11.0.1 you tried the same work with another ipad air of the same model and it is in the same situation it is not activated there is solution

i have lga60 chips received from aliexpress as working on ipad2 new version (emc2560).

i desoldered the original chips and found that the board have all 60 pads, but the original nand is lga52.

the middle row of pads not soldered.

my question is: should i soldered the middle row of pads of the new chips or not?

Hi. I unlock iPad Air 1 1475 but after restore audio is not working. If I put my ear near the case I can hear something like scratches. It is impossible to short circuit the audio ic . I have done this 100 times with air 1.

You accidentally shorted out a backlight coil, IC, and/or filter. Its a common mistake that occurs when metal touches or comes close enough to cause a discharge and short out the delicate components.

In order to repair it you will need to have SMD soldering skills. You can find people on ebay to repair it for you.

All icloud locked Ipads that are not cellular can be unlocked now. The service is offered on ebay by more then one seller. Some how they are able to bypass icloud with only the serial number of the wifi Ipad.
