iRacing is the leading sim racing game for your PC. Developed as a centralized racing and competition service, iRacing organizes, hosts and officiates online racing on virtual tracks all around the world. In the fast-paced world of eSports, iRacing is a one-stop-shop for online racing. We utilize the latest technologies to recreate our ever-expanding lineup of famed race cars and tracks from the comfort of your home. Simulate what a professional NASCAR driver experiences inside the seat of a stock car, or a Grand Prix driver sees over the dash. All of the details add up to a lineup of cars and tracks that are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing. This creates unmatched immersion when sim racers take the green flag in our online racing simulator. Although iRacing is an online racing simulator at heart, the value as a training tool is just as real. The best sim racers in the world compete on iRacing and you can watch the race broadcasts live on the iRacing eSports Network.

Although there are many important things in life, nothing compares to the frustration of spending 15+ minutes preparing for a race / tuning a setup, only to wait another 5 minutes and have the race fail to start due to a loading screen stuck.

ErgRace Online is based on the ErgRace software for use in venues. In the future, we hope to allow for a wider variety of workouts to be run on ErgRace Online, including interval workouts and mixed erg Ergathlons. We also plan to support the ability to run private events, for situations where organisers do not want their results to be published online or spectators to view races.

Unfortunately not, the rest of us are just as annoyed as you on this one.
It took me 10/15 minutes to get in to an S2 class road race, only to sit there for 5 minutes whilst race was in progress which was the final race and then an B class cross country race came up so had to wait another 10 mins getting an S2 race again.

I once tried to get my guys to figure out THE BEST alpha for a build and we determined it was less than 2-3 hours of difference no matter what. If you use a buddy code you get 1 million free SP and the starting race becomes moot.

None of those problems or advantages are significant given you can always cross train. To be honest a similar (and equally personal and glib) answer can be provided for each of the races. Go with whichever culture you like and whichever ships you find the most attractive. You can always cross train and relocate.

The award-winning online typing competition, TypeRacer, is the best free typing game in the world. It is the first-ever multiplayer typing game, which lets you race against real people typing quotes from books, movies, and songs.

Your typing speed will improve by at least 10 WPM if you play this free game at least once a week. TypeRacer is much more fun than just a free typing test. It's better to practice typing on typeracer.com than any free typing program or typing tutor. The consensus is clear: among computer typing games, TypeRacer is king!

Already know how to type? Then just have fun! TypeRacer is one of the best free online games, so why play any other addicting games which don't improve your typing speed in the process? You can quit those other computer games, flash games, facebook games, and kids games, and get focused on TypeRacer: the game that is actually good for you!

Purpose: Viral videos of the detainment of undocumented immigrants in cages and police killings of unarmed citizens are two of the most pressing traumatic events facing adolescents of color. However, little is known about whether these online experiences are linked to mental health outcomes. This study examines the association between exposure to such events online and mental health in a sample of African American and Latinx adolescents.

Methods: Data were collected from a national sample of 302 African American and Latinx adolescents aged 11-19 years. Participants reported their exposure to traumatic events online (TEO), depressive symptoms, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms, and other sociodemographics. Multiple regression analyses were conducted.

The January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol demonstrated how online disinformation can have severe offline consequences. For some time, the problems and possible impacts on democracy caused by online mis- and dis-information have dominated public policy discussions and thus research about these topics has developed rapidly in the last few years. Many disinformation campaigns are specifically designed with racist and/or misogynistic content, suggesting that disinformation is a tool used to promote ideologies like white supremacy and patriarchy.

In September 2020, CDT brought together an interdisciplinary and international group of experts to share and discuss research on this issue. This report presents some of those ideas and builds upon them to identify key research opportunities, including important unresolved questions around the intersections of online disinformation, race, and gender. This report also makes recommendations for how to tackle the related methodological and technical problems that researchers and others face in addressing these topics. This is important in generating research that will be directly relevant for developing policy solutions to address disinformation.

Disinformation campaigns often rely on exploiting existing narratives of discrimination (e.g., mysoginistic views) or narratives that stem from historical discrimination (e.g., views within some African American communities about the criminal justice system) to build credibility for the false information being shared. By not sufficiently examining this feature, we may be missing the point of disinformation campaigns, which are sometimes intentionally designed to exploit existing forms of discrimination and often target people based on race, gender identity, or both.

A wide cross-section of Americans have experienced and encountered abusive behaviors online, according to a recently released Pew Research Center survey. And although this harassment can take many forms, some minority groups more frequently encounter harassment that carries racial overtones. This is particularly true for black Americans, a quarter of whom say they have been targeted online due to their race or ethnicity, compared with 10% of Hispanics and 3% of whites.

Observing harassment can leave a strong impression, especially among blacks and Hispanics. After witnessing online harassment, for example, 43% of black internet users and 44% of Hispanics have felt anxious that something similar might happen to them, compared with 33% of white internet users.

While researchers have developed rigorous practices for offline housing audits to enforce the US Fair Housing Act, the online world lacks similar practices. In this work we lay out principles for developing and performing online fairness audits. We demonstrate a controlled sock-puppet audit technique for building online profiles associated with a specific demographic profile or intersection of profiles, and describe the requirements to train and verify profiles of other demographics. We also present two audits using these sock-puppet profiles. The first audit explores the number and content of housing-related ads served to a user. The second compares the ordering of personalized recommendations on major housing and real-estate sites. We examine whether the results of each of these audits exhibit indirect discrimination: whether there is correlation between the content served and users' protected features, even if the system does not know or use these features explicitly. Our results show differential treatment in the number and type of housing ads served based on the user's race, as well as bias in property recommendations based on the user's gender. We believe this framework provides a compelling foundation for further exploration of housing fairness online.
