SpaceGAMBIT and Alex C-G - back to China

Howdy all,

Long time, no see! I'm Alex C-G, one of the early members of Xinchejian who left China to set up SpaceGAMBIT, an open-source space program to democratize space technology.

I'm very likely heading back to China for a few months starting in October and it would be great to catch up with everyone. We're especially looking to set up SpaceGAMBIT in China since there are so many makers and large public support for space. Would be great to meet anyone interested in helping (especially finding sponsors!)

No idea yet of exact Shanghai dates, but I expect I'll be there for the maker carnival. Look forward to seeing all the old faces and meeting the new ones too!

So, latest news is that I'll be in SH for the Maker Carnival (17-18 Oct) and maybe sooner/later as well (some Britishers are doing a hackerspace tour of China that I'll jump in on and they're bound to hit up Xinchejian. I'll link up with Noisebridge too if schedules don't clash)

I'm in Paris at the moment, so if anyone wants anything from here, let me know. Y'know, just in case you want to hack together a Beaglebone Baguette or a Raspberry Pi powered tarte framboise.
