Promoting CACA Essay Contest

Dear all,

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, the Chinese American Citizens Alliance will hold its annual national essay contest.  This essay contest is open to any student enrolled in high school (grades 9-12).  No entry fee required.  The test will be administered at the Wah Lack House at 800 Sixth Street, NW, Washington, D.C.  Participants in the essay contest are to compose an essay in English not to exceed 500 words on a subject regarding Chinese issues in the United States.  The exact topic will be announced at the time of the contest. 

National First Prize: $1,000 and Certificate

National Second Prize: $700 and Certificate

National Third Prize: $500 and Certificate

10 Awards of Merit: $100 and Certificate

All entry forms must be completed and postmarked not later than February 28, 2017 and mailed to 601 Pennsylvania
