Hi everyone,
I have created a JDBC 4 version of the driver. It requires at least Java 6.

Hello Grace,

I just discovered your work and start testing it with SQLite 3.8.2 and dbeaver 2.3.6.

It seems to work fine, except the "diagram" function that seems anyway incompatible with all existing SQlite drivers I look.

Could you :
- do an update when the new release of SQLite3.8.3 will happen (around Frebruary 12th) ?
(Sqlite3.8.2 will include 'Common Table Expressions', an extraordinary improvement)

- pinpoint may where I could start to try to fix the 'diagram' problem with dbeaver ?
(if ever it's fixable and if you have an idea where the problem could be)

Thanks anyway for this great driver snapshot.

This is great news.  You are my hero today.

My only question is: Can we get this in the maven repo

I'd like to use sqlite with all my Java EE projects, and that is on the table now that a DataSource implementation is included.  I intend to download and work with it regardless, but it would be much cleaner for everyone if there was centralized and automated management of the dependency via maven.

With EE, it's extra helpful because dependencies have to be deployed inside the distributable, requiring even more configuration micromanagement.

Ok. I will deploy a milestone version to Maven central.

Jolly good!  I haven't seen it up there yet, so I guess you're working on it.

Out of curiosity, what is involved in that for you?  (going from the jdbc4 branch to publishing it on the maven repository)

Are you merging in all the changes and making it official so it can be published as the next release? Or can you maven release branches separately?

I set up projects with Maven to manage dependency downloads and distributable packaging, and I have a private git repository for accessing and branching my code.  I haven't actually done a collaborative project though, or published anything with Maven, or to a public repository in general.

I'd like to start publishing in Maven, and working in groups, but I don't know what my options and the best approaches are.

This seemed like a good opportunity to learn from a common use case.

Any chance this can get pushed to maven central or https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots since it's a snapshot?

Thanks,
Tristan

Sorry for the delay of response.

Today I deployed sqlite-jdbc-3.8.5-pre1, which will be available in maven central in a few hours.

Thanks.
