Hi
Xerela is a Great project but it doesn't have any linux installation
guide.
Can i configure current source code on linux operating system?
Most open source softwares support linux but this project include only
windows installer package.
Regards,
Siavash

Hi Siavash,

A Linux installation guide would be great. I was actually thinking of
setting up a VM distribution on CentOS. What format do you think
would be the most helpful?

Cheers,
Aurelio

Hi Aurelio,
Vmware image can be very helpful.
What do you think about rPath Linux? rPath is a good choice for
Appliances.

Funny you should say that -- rPath is exactly what I had in mind.  Is this something you'd be interested in setting up or working together on?

Looks like the hosted solution for rPath is no longer an option:
http://www.rpath.com/corp/wind-down

I'm mostly done putting together a Xerela VM on CentOS 5.6. It's too
big for the download area (~1GB, limit is 100MB), but I've put in a
request to google to increase the limit. If that doesn't work out
I'll find somewhere else to host it. In the meantime, let me know if
there's somewhere you'd like me to upload the image -- it's a
VirtualBox OVA file.
