Hi
I'm using Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series ( CatOS) to test Xerela Features,
but Xerela could not run any command successfully.
Backup, add user, interface brief,... completed with exception. I have
installed all required perl modules and i can telnet to my device with
telnet command.
I think that Xerela is only a nice Flash UI without true logic!
Do you have any advice ?
Regards,

Never seen a 3750 running CatOS. Positive it is not running IOS? If you are not sure paste a show version and we can tell you.

That's right! It is running Cisco IOS. i  have changed OS type to Cisco IOs, but problem didn't solved.

for exmaple this  when i want to add a new ro user account, this message appears:

Can't call method "get_protocol_name" on an undefined value at /home/siavash/Monitoring/ziptie/dist/server/core/org.xerela.adapters_2008.10.0.dev/scripts/Xerela/CLIProtocolFactory.pm line 31, <STDIN> line 66.

I am going to have to agree with you Xerela in it's current state is not ready for any real use. Being the that the code is nearly 3 years old and this was a fork was of a early beta of ZipTie before the license change and last release I believe it is going to take a good bit of work to get it back into a good working order.

I was/am a big fan of ZipTie and hope the Xerela team can pickup the pieces.

I had to work with zip-tie as well to customize the scripts to work on my devices... when you are using later firmware than was around when they were developed,  sometimes the output on "show" commands and the like change,  even if its just capitalization, and the search strings used for Xerela dont work because they don't pickup on the expected output.    I had to learn them by trial and error... I think the best thing to make Xerela more usable would be to document an example of how to edit these .pm files... I have several 3750's  and if we want to make a focus on developing a specific interface for them and document how we do it Im sure it would be a big step in making the platform more useable...   I kind of fixed the ones for PIX/ASA because the originals were developed for 6.x and im using 8.x releases...   I don't fully understand the coding principals... but the more I looked at them the more they started making sense how it all chained together....
