Hello R2G rowers,

Just in case you have never heard of CRASH-B it is an acronym for
"Charles River All Star Has Beens".... This gives you absolutely no
clue as to what it is. It is an indoor rowing competition held every
year in Boston Massachusetts, smack in the middle of winter.

CRASHB is known also as the indoor rowing world championship.
Competitors race 2000 meters on Concept2 rowing machines. It is a
highly competitive event, because of all the age and two weight
categories. I competed in at the regatta four times. 1990, when I
won the Junior division, 1991, 1992, and 1993, my mother even won the
CrashB trophy, a hammer, in 1992, she wanted to know what sort of pain
her son goes through on such a machine.

So if you are solely a WaterRower user and want to have a stab at it,
you might want to find a gym where you can use a Concept2 machine.
You will quickly find that the WaterRower is a bit more pleasant to
row, but for the purpose of torture, a flat out 2000 meter sprint
race, Concept2 is at this time still the brand of the game.

If you are interested training for CRASH-B or a 2K sprint, you should
have a serious look at my 16 week training program

For now, have a great night if you share part of my time zone.

Row far,

From us, Xeno and the Row2go team,

ROW VENU ROW!!!
