What happens to guest OSes if the hypervisor crashes?

Doing some research and cannot find this answer in a search engine.

What if you have the Xen hypervisor running with several guest virtual
machines being controlled by it, and then the hypervisor itself
crashes? What happens to the running guest OSes and applications?
