arguing that XNO is a good choice for "the indisputable Native Currency of The Internet."

I disagree -- not with Nano as a good choice, but with the whole concept.

In my opinion, a set of interoperable protocols is what is needed, and that's what I've been building, or keeping design notes about building, on and off, since 1996.
