Usethis option and download Media Creation Tool if you want to create bootable USB media to perform a clean install on new or existing hardware. To get started you first need a license to install Windows 11 or have a Windows 10 device that qualifies for an upgrade to Windows 11.

To get started, you will first need to have a license to install Windows 11. You can then download and run the media creation tool. For more information on how to use the tool, see the instructions below.

If you have folder-level security (granular folder permissions) enabled in Settings > Misc > General, changes in functionality will significantly impact the way existing share behavior works when you upgrade from versions below 23.1 to FileCloud 23.x and higher. If you have granular folder permissions set, please contact FileCloud Support before upgrading to FileCloud 23.x and higher to avoid share and file access issues.

Download the latest FileCloud Windows Update Tool from

Note: It is essential that you download the latest version of the update tool; If you run an old version of the tool, you will re-install an old version of FileCloud.

Open the FileCloud Control Panel and click Stop for each running service. ( If you are upgrading an HA system, stop all the nodes (All DB servers of the replica set as well as the Apache web servers on each of the nodes).) If running Memcache, make sure it is stopped too.

Ensure that Install Folder shows the location of your XAMPP folder. This location is auto-detected, but it may not be able to determine it correctly if there are multiple XAMPP folders. If it is not correct, select the correct XAMPP install folder.

Click Start on the Update Tool dialog box to begin the upgrade. (Repeat steps 1-3 for each of the nodes for HA system).

The tool must be able to connect to the internet in order to download the update package. Please contact sup...@codelathe.com if you see any errors in this step.

The media creation tool can be used to upgrade your computer to Windows 10 or to create a USB or DVD and install Windows 10 on a different computer. Microsoft has a step-by-step process to allow you to upgrade to Windows 10 using the media creation tool.

Once you open the link, click the SHOW ALL link to see all the instructions for running the upgrade on the computer you are on or how to create a DVD or USB Key to run the upgrade on another computer.

I ran the tool as the steps describe (installing it, using upgrade-assistant analyze with the project csproj path and then upgrade-assistant upgrade with the path), but after it was done, the project still remains with a target framework of .net standard 2.0.

.NET standard works parallelly. That means you would have to update to .NET standard 2.1 if you need it for other old framework projects. Otherwise create new libraries in .NET 6 and migrate your code.According to microsoft: -us/platform/dotnet-standard,.NET 6 supports .NET Standard 2.1.Future versions of .NET will also support .NET Standard 2.1 and earlier versions.

The interface Project > Property tools isn't the way to update version from .Net standard to other versions other than standard versions. The right/easiest way is updating the TargetFramework in .csproj file of the project directly.

I upgraded yesterday to 11.3.2 and had the same issue with the Jamf Server tools. I opened a ticket and they suggested deleting the tools.yaml file and letting it recreate itself when you run the Jamf Server tool. I had to verify that all the settings were fine, but now Tomcat shows its is running in the tool. If you open that file, you will see that it is set for Tomcat8 and then the new file will show Tomcat9

I have the same I think. Just upgraded my Dev JAMF server (Windows) to 11.3.2 and it seems Apache Tomcat 9 is now the version yet under the server tools it is not starting as it says it cannot find tomcat8. The JAMF web interface is working fine though so looks like the Server Tools part is not getting the fact it now uses Tomcat 9.

Interestingly I get another error message (error: failed to start the server: exit status 2), but this might be due to other language pack on the server? If I remember correctly exit status 2 also meant something like service not found so it's probably the same issue.

Thank you for posting this. I was shocked when I tried to open the Server Tools and it says it was looking for Tomcat8, when I knew JAMF decided to upgrade to Tomcat9. Was throwing an error about the Database.xml missing as well, and it was referencing the wrong location. Would have been fantastic if JAMF had mentioned this in the upgrade notes.

After upgrading to Jamf Pro 11.5.1, I too experienced the issue and had to change the service name. Additionally, I was getting an "Error: unknown flag: --tomcat-service" when I tried to reset the service name on one of my 3 JSS clusters using the new 3.1.1 server tools but was able to change it manually by editing the tools.yaml file on that one server. However, the others allowed me to change the service name using the jamf-pro CLI server tools.

The sh installation script recognises the following optional flags andoptions: -q suppresses output and specifies non-intervention (likely aprerequisite for the use of the script in CI environments); -f forcesinstallation, even if an existing Stack executable is detected; and-d specifies a destination directory for the Stackexecutable.

The script at get.haskellstack.orgwill ask for root access using sudo. It needs such access in orderto use your platform's package manager to install dependencies andto install to /usr/local/bin. If you prefer more control, followthe manual installation instructions for your platform below.

Some Linux distributions have official or unofficial packages forStack, including Arch Linux, Debian, Fedora, NixOS, openSUSE/SUSELinux Enterprise, and Ubuntu. However, the Stack version availableas a Linux package may lag behind Stack's current version and, insome cases, the lag may be significant.

macOS also comes with a command line tool, xcode-select, that canbe used to obtain the Xcode Command Line Tools. Commandxcode-select --print-path to print the path to the currentlyselected (active) developer directory. If the directory does notexist, or is empty, then the Xcode Command Line Tools are notinstalled.

An upgrade of macOS may sometimes require the existing Xcode CommandLine Tools to be uninstalled and an updated version of the tools tobe installed. The existing tools can be uninstalled by deleting thedirectory reported by xcode-select --print-path.

Xcode 10 provided an SDK for macOS 10.14 (Mojave) andchanged the locationof the macOS system headers. As a workaround, an extra package wasprovided by Apple which installed the headers to the base systemunder /usr/include.

The setting instructs the C compiler to compile objects forARM64. These can then be linked with libraries built for ARM64.Without the instruction, the C compiler, invoked by Cabalrunning in x86-64, would compile x86-64 objects and attempt tolink them with existing ARM64 libraries, resulting in the errorabove.

You may see a "Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented anunrecognized app from starting" warning when you try to run theinstaller. If so, click on More info, and then click on theRun anyway button that appears.

The Windows installer for Stack 2.9.1, 2.9.3 and 2.11.1 (only)will replace the user PATH environment variable (rather thanappend to it) if a 1024 character limit is exceeded. If thecontent of your existing user PATH is long, preserve it beforerunning the installer.

As of 24 February 2020, the download link has limited connectivity fromwithin mainland China. If you experience this, please proceed bymanually downloading (ideally via a VPN) and installing Stack followingthe instructions on this page that apply to your operating system.
