How to send a full stop key

Hi,

Thanks for xdotool. It's a nicely working tool. Sending keys with
"xdotool send <key>" works great. I just failed to send a full stop. I
tried "xdotool key Full_Stop", "xdotool key Dot", "xdotool key .", and
others, but all failed. How can I send a full stop?

X11 calls it 'period' unless you are referring to another key. This should work:

This is probably what you want: xdotool key period
Also, 'type' will work, here, too: xdotool type .
