The main xdotool webpage
It becoming really dated, pointing to a release from 2011!
It also does not point to Github where you can download the latest version
If this is done, the various repositories will hopefully start picking up newer versions.
As a side note: "verson.sh" is returning a '+' in the version number
This is caused by a duplication of the '+' in date format usage.
