Hi,

I’ve just discovered the program xdotool – it’s excellent and I am having fun with it.

However, there is also a work task I have to do which is why I searched for something like it. The problem is, I need to automatically fiddle with windows in microsoft windows. Which is bad. So I was wondering whether there is a version that runs on windows xp?

Many thanks,

Michael

xdotool is limited to X servers.

However, you're still in luck! For Windows, there's an excellent tool called AutoIt that I've used in the past to do lost of windows UI automation:

It provides a little scripting language to do many things xdotool can do (and sometimes more).
