XCss is cool.
But it 'll be cool to soustrate % by px :

exemple :

.myclass{
padding: 5px;
width: [100% - 10px]
}

it's just an idea.

hey, sorry i dont understand what you mean? there is absolutely no way to find out what is the actual px size of a % based element, by only looking at the css.

its possible to pass document width with javascript when page loads...
but then that would mean css would have to be re-generated everytime
someone loads the page.

xCSS works on the serverside and is finished before any clientside script runs. besides, like youve sad, you shouldnt compile xcss in the production!
