I just recently started minimizing my js and css and I love xCSS and
minify

One thing I am missing with xCSS is a way to integrate it without
having trouble with client thats wants to change css themselve or
hire a external company to do it.

What I mean by that, is that minify have a great way of creating a
cached file for you, so if your cache file is up to date it directly
tap the cached file. So whatever you do with the source files, you
still get the end result on the live site in the end. I think it would
be a great option for xCSS

Obviously this mean there will be a bit of php executed to look if the
files are up to date, but I would personally take that for the
simplicity it would give me.

Ye its not that hard, a php file (include it every time your page is
loading or call it with a cronjob), that checks the modification date
of the .xcss files (via the xcss_settings array) and decides wether or
not to call the xcss class. the only problem is how to store the
modification dates of the time the files were created. I think the
best way is to safe it to a .txt file with serialize().
