[Xcsoar-user] No Terrain map

Could someone please offer some suggestions as to why my Dell Streak does not display the

terrain on the screen? I have created and loaded an XCM file for my area from the XCsoar website.

I put it inside the XCsoarData folder but no terrain shows up.

The Streak has the 2.2 op system. XC soar is version 6.6

try this:

select: config - config - system - site files

select your map file in: "map database"

(waypoints and airspace files can be selected in there as well)

If your xcm file does not appear in there - it is most likely not in the xcsoardata folder.

if all the above is good:

select: display - display: you can toggle terrain, topo and airspace to be displayed / or not to be displayed.

let us know how you go!

And make sure your home waypoint is set to a location within the map you installed.
