I'm running into quite a bit of a problem trying to compile my app on
my iphone. It works just fine on an IPod running 4.3.3. But when I try
to run it on my IPhone using 4.2.10 I get the following error:

warning: UUID mismatch detected with the loaded library - on disk is:
/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.10 (8E600)/
Symbols/usr/lib/info/dns.so

I'm running XCode 4.1. which didn't come with a 4.2.10 directory so I
collected the info from my phone using organizer, as many forums
advised. However, doing so does not provide you with the Symbols/usr/
lib/info/dns.so file so I have tried linking and copying this file
from the 4.2 directory but just end up with the error above. Any help
would be greatly appreciated as quite stuck at the moment.

Thanks
Richard

You've likely already resolved this, but if not I suggest asking on
StackOverflow; this is a great group but the list is pretty quiet and
you're more likely to get a fast answer there.

You have borked your SDK installation. I'd uninstall it and reinstall it. Update your device to the latest OS (go beta if you want) and re-collect debug info. Never ever copy stuff around manually in your Xcode platforms directories.
