Just a reminder that we’ll be holding an xCDAT Office Hours session tomorrow at 10am PT.

This is an informal session, drop-in session where everybody is welcome to collaborate or get help with xCDAT-related analysis code. Feel free to join and drop off at any time.

Hope to see you there!

Best,

Hi all,

Beginning August 13, xCDAT Office Hours will be held every 4 weeks on Wednesday from 10–11 AM PT.

xCDAT is a Python package that extends xarray to streamline common workflows for analyzing Earth system model output. It provides routine analysis operations such as loading, averaging, and regridding data on structured grids.

This is an open, informal session where you can:

  • 💬 Ask questions and get help
  • 🤝 Collaborate on specific xCDAT issues (e.g., pair programming, brainstorming)
  • 💡 Share ideas and provide feedback on the project
  • 🌐 Connect across organizations — the session is open to both internal and external users

I'll lead the session, and other xCDAT team members may join when available.

How to Get the Most Out of Office Hours:

Looking forward to connecting and collaborating with you!
