Hello Jan,     Program Updates, Deadlines & Reminders    LESS THAN 2 DAYS UNTIL KICKOFF! The 2022 FIRST® Robotics Competition Kickoff celebration presented by Ford is happening this Saturday, January 8, 2022! Watch the RAPID REACTSM presented by The Boeing Company Game Reveal & Kickoff Broadcast at 12 p.m. Eastern Time on FIRSTtv (Preshow starts at 11:45 a.m. Eastern Time). Important Kickoff & Kickoff Kit Information: This most recent FIRST Robotics Competition Blog entry has important information to help you prepare for Saturday’s Kickoff. Learn about encrypted 2022 files, Kit of Parts updates, and what to do if something is missing or damaged in your Kickoff Kit. FIRST Choice: Round 2 of FIRST® Choice opens Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 12 noon Eastern Time until Thursday, January 20, 2022. Unused Round 1 credits roll over to Round 2, and additional credits will be issued. More information is available on the Kit of Parts page, and you can also check out this helpful video here. Important! Kickoff Events: With the rapidly evolving COVID situation, some Kickoffs are transitioning to Kickoff Kit pickup only. If this happens, attending teams should be contacted by the Kickoff Coordinator. However, it would also be a good practice to read the notes in the Registration Details section (if present) on the event page for the Kickoff you are attending. You can search for your Kickoff event listing by using the Team and Event Search Page. Please check before you leave for that Kickoff!   FIRST Updates    The Dr. Bart Kamen Memorial FIRST Scholarship: This scholarship opportunity – for students pursuing medicine, biomedical engineering – is accepting applications until February 1, 2022.
