Fw: Get Out the Vote Campaign

Hey X-Cats!

While high school students aren't old enough to vote, we recognize being a part of the political process is important to many of you.

SO we've organized an opportunity to join with the League of Women Voters in their Get Out the Vote campaign. 

We'll meet at Wilson and canvas the neighborhood, hanging doorhangers to inform people how to register to vote. 

It's also a chance to see each other outside and IRL. {Everyone must wear masks and socially distance of course!!!}

What: Get Out the Vote Doorhanger Campaign

When: Saturday, 10/17 from 1-3 pm

Where: Wilson side parking lot on Aberdeen

How: Sign up here for this specific timeslot

Who: you, silly, and your fellow x-cats! 

Type in X-Cats when you sign up:

Just to be clear: this is not a community service event, so there's no obligation to come to this event whatsoever. If you have the time and inclination, though, please join in!

EDIT: This effort is about getting full information about voting out to people, not registering to vote.

 

To participate, sign up at here, choosing the Saturday shift on 10/17 from 1 to 3 and indicate your organization as x-cats.

 

Then show up at the Wilson side parking lot on Aberdeen and be ready to hang flyers on doorknobs!
