Dear team,
I have been asked to help a UTS Engineering research team who are using a form of CAO.
They are working with students doing their career placement component and are planning on using the Belbin, Honey and Mumford (learning styles) and one other questionnaire to explore whether they will hep identify which students [with which profiles] response most/lease to the CAO approach to taking responsibility for learning.
It is early days in regard to shaping the work, so I’m writing to ask if anyone on the list has done/is doing or knows of any work in this general area.
All ideas and suggestions for how to frame such work or other suggestions will be most welcome.
On a separate note, I’ll be at MOBTS - I am presenting a workshop on "assessment is prospective, instead of retrospective.” I’ll be introducing some of the assessment methods I use when I can’t use weekly memos.
