Short notice but ...

Dear All,

Since some of us are meeting in June I thought I’d pass on this request for expressions of interest for a special edition of the following journal. If there is enough interest I could develop an initial statement and circulate it. Deadline is 5th of April and I’ve just received it, so there isn ot al to of time for the first step but enough for a longer run.

We have two possible contributions from Oz.

What do you think?

Call for Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice (JUTLP) Special Issue Proposals

 

The Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice (JUTLP) is calling for proposals for 2020 special issues, especially on contemporary themes associated with effective and innovative teaching and learning practice in the higher education environment.

The expectation is that the special issue would be of interest to an international audience. To propose a special issue please download the Special Issue Proposal form from the JUTLP website at http://ro.uow.edu.au/jutlp/latestnews.html and email the completed Special Issue Proposal form to

HI Elyssebeth,

thanks for pointing out that call.  yes, I think a special issue on CAO used in various discipine areas and from a variety of perspectives such as assessment of learning, value in regards to employablity, acceptance and adoption (or lack of) by the wider faculty etc would be of interest.

Go for it, maybe it's the push needed for more articles in the near future :-)

(p.s. my class is on for fall. we canceled a course for a new grad program and I pushed for XB in fall. much better than in spring when they have severe senioritis!!!)
