I just purchased this game two days ago and it seems to me it has soo
many bugs and disappointments to it ,one of these bugs is no voice .
i feel i got ripped off buying it.compared to fable 1 and 2 ,this game
has alot missing, like no heath bars and no mana bar. combine that
with no dieing in game . It just has no challenge , the story line is
alright atm . I hope it continues and does not drop off and ends
quick. For anyone who is thinking of buying this game, if you can rent
it or borrow it first, i would do that . good luck all .

Has anyone picked up Vanquish?  I heard that its a solid game and I am really considering picking it up even though it doesn't have xbox live or any multiplayer functionality.

I can understand your disappointment about Fable 3. Try to keep in
mind through that these days everyone is trying something new in the
gaming world to keep people interested. This could include new
features, changing game play, or even just small little tweaks to
existing game play. Personally i love Fable 3. Magic is now based on
wearing different gauntlets, and the face that i can gain different
spells by obtaining different "potions" really keeps things
interesting. Also the new weapon progression gives your player a since
of individually that you couldn't really get in the other games. Try
going into it with an open mind, you might start finding things that
you like rather than concentrating on the changes that you dont like.

"one of these bugs is no voice." is it just in certain parts or does the game just lack voice? If it is the latter then that's more of a design choice and not so much a "bug".

"Try to keep in mind through that these days everyone is trying something new in the
gaming world to keep people interested." I am all for innovation in video games, but does this make it ok for developers to unfinished products? Why should we have to be waiting for patches to the fix the game? or better yet how come in most cases when you go out and buy that new game and bring it home and put it into your system and the first thing (in most cases, not all) that pops up is a patch update. Has the ability to push patches down to the console made it ok to send out an unfinished product? What about those people who's console is not hooked up to the internet? Are they supposed to play their broken game?

This is not an attack on "Fable 3" I'm sure it is a decent game (I haven't played it yet), it's just that I feel that developers have gotten a bit lazy when it comes to QA

from what ive been able to gather so far, the only voices is in the CG
Videos. And i see what you mean about gaming company starting to
become lazy, but on the other side on the coin games these days have
so much more content then they did even five years ago. And while game
storage space has more than doubled that means that the designers have
to have more time to do everything. They might not have had the time
to do it. Or maybe they just opted not to!

I see your point, but the developing teams are getting larger as well. So in theory they should still have enough man power to crank out a fairly polished. As far as Fable 3 goes, I'm still totally on the fence with this one. I'm not sure if I should pick it up or not. I loved the first two. But I also loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas looks pretty enticing.
