that really depends on the types of games that you like to play. While
they are both great games they have there differences.

Single Player Gameplay:

Call of Duty: Black Ops
This game is very familiar to the previous game "Modern Warfare 2" in
the since of ite realism and its ability to draw in the player. The
story line is created to make the player think that something like
this could actually happen and that you can really change the
outcome.

Halo: Reach
As a fan of the entire Halo series I couldn't wait for this game to
come out. The game does a great job at telling a story. The action is
very solid while at the same time you really begin to find yourself
having feelings for the characters in the game. This game being a
prequel to the entire series really makes you want to play through the
earlier games when you have finished the game. Story telling at its
best.

Multiplayer Mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Like the previous game in the series the action is fast and if you are
not on your toes you will be killed. Having the ability to customize
your play load-outs even further than in the last game really lets the
player play the way that he/she wants to rather than feeling like they
have to conform to certain weapons. The maps are large and very well
made, and while there are people that have found and will find camping
spots it hard not to spot someone and hunt them down.

Halo:Reach
This game has added nothing but goods things to its multiplayer
arsenal. In this game they have greatly increased the customizing of
your spartan. Now, not only can you choose your colors and emblem that
is always on you "even in the single player game". But you can even
choose specifically what pieces of armor you want. Putting in place an
"experience" system allows you to rank up and collect credits that
allow you to buy new armor and attachments. These also carry over in
to the single player mode. Game play has even gotten better. You now
have whats called "armor ability's" these things can greatly increase
the performance of the game and even change the tide of battle in a
heartbeat. And like in all multiplayer games there are players that
scam the system. Well now you have a way to punish them accordingly.

Overall:
Both games have been greatly overhauled and been given a great deal of
new things that really improve the games themselves while making the
player feel like they have much more to do with the way they play. If
your looking for a game that Tells a great story along with a good
amount of action then i suggest Halo: Reach. If your looking for
something more realistic and fast paced then go with Call of Duty:
Black Ops. Either way they are both great games and your sure to have
a great time playing them.
