Hi Vixeners!
As I have done for the last decade, I just uploaded viXen ver 1.99 cerca 2025.
Hosted
by SourceForge, you can download the Innosetup installer of your
choice.
--> For the late Windows XP, ReactOS or
Wine installer (without GetSystemMetrics.x and SortSource):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/visual-xblite/files/vixen%20version%201/VIXEN%20v1.99/vixen_setup_v1_99u.exe/download
--> For the Windows 10 (and 11) installer (WITH
GetSystemMetrics.x and SortSource.x in folder guisrc):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/visual-xblite/files/vixen%20version%201/VIXEN%20v1.99/vixen_setup_v1_99u_windows10.exe/download
.
Project sources (I welcome any comment, remark, suggestion... on
vxbl.x):

I believe viXen circa 2025 will be the last release of viXen version 1.99: it is my main tool for priming my projects in XBLite for the last decade and I don’t see how I can make it better.
I used viXen under Windows XP, and I managed (so painfully, may I say...) to port it under Windows 10 without the burdain of running as an Admin, as Windows 10 would force you to. Works nicely for me, but would it work for you?
Tell me please!
What I
would like to do in 2025 is to work on a VERY LIGHT version of
viXen
version 1.99, code name: FoxRAD, an Xblite Rapide Application
development. (vixen/fox, wink!)
FoxRAD will generate only WinX applications, and FoxRAD will be coded entirely using WinX.dll, which should validate and "cement" WinX library itself. I will post FoxRAD in GitHub, alongside WinX sources.
Of course, I still fully support viXen as my main project, especially if you need bug corrections or improvements.
Happy xbliting circa 2025!
Bye! Guy
