A new release of XBLite, v2.43,  is available at www.xblite.org.

The download size for both the .exe installer and .zip file is about half of the previous version. Many files and libraries have been moved or taken out to create a slimmed down and manageable version. The win32.chm help file is a separate download due to it's size.

If you already have installed XBLite, then I would suggest that you rename your current \xblite folder, create a new \xblite folder,  and then copy the new files to the same installation folder. This way you will not need to change your current environment variables and path to the \xblite directory. Don't forget to copy or move the win32.chm file to the \xblite\manual folder.

The new xblite.org site is basically an updated revival of the previous version at xblite.com.

The majority of changes in V2.43 of XBLite are updates to the XSED editor. There a large number of improvements to XSED including a new icon set, 32x32 icons, improved fonts, better syntax coloring, auto indentation, auto keyword uppercase, tab coloring, tab exit, tab file modified icon, tab dragging, and more. Bookmarks can be added by clicking on the bookmark margin. Links to help files from menu items have been repaired.

There are also a number of new menu items, such as Reload, Rename, Delete, Delete All Project Files,  Copy to Clipboard > Copy File Path, Copy File Name, Copy Directory Path, Insert Breakpoint, Build debug .exe, Run GoBug Debugger.

The GoTools debugger GoBug has been incorporated into XSED with menu items to build a debug executable and then run in the GoBug debugger.

The XBLite compiler remains basically the same as in V2.42. A few new changes or additions where made to Xsx. The xblite.exe, xsed.exe, and xsx.dll files now have version information implemented in their respective resource files.

Source code for the XBLite compiler, and downloads for 3rd party libraries can be found at http://xblite.org/downloads/.

ciao for now,
David
