Hi Xig team and all users.
For two days I have been struggling with the easiest part of Xig, connect xbee pro 2.4 modules to xig.
What I have used and tried:
Xig for windows with a usb ftdi r232rl and a xbp24 zigbee coordinator. Ap=1, 2. Rts and cts, only cts only rts. Not being able to connect xbee to Xig. I have tried config from user guide too. No connection status.
Xig for Linux in a raspberry pi b, same as windows, usb with the coordinator xbee. I have tried with ama0 too connecting cables to rasp gpio, no connection status.
My zigbee xbee model is xbee pro 2.4 s2.
Could anyone give me some advice?
Best regards!

Hi Rob!
I will try to help you, here some questions:

1) Can you tell us the Firmware version of the XBP24 that you are using?
2) Can you add the module with XCTU digi tool?
3) When you execute the command in linux, have you the right permissions to open the port? (sudo command will be needed in some cases)(In windows you should execute XIG with administrator permissions)
4) What version of XIG are you using?

I have here the same board and I am able to add the module and work with it.

Looks like you have some problems to open the COMport
Regards

Hi Rob!
I set in my XBP24 the same firmware 21A7, using the same version of XIG (1.5.1) in windows, and it works for me.

i will try to check this weekend in my Linux PC.
