Neural network algorithm

Which neural network algorithm does xbat use? Can you explain a little
about it? Have you ever thought about other network algorithms? Which
neural network do you prefer for recognize sounds: SOM, Kohonen Maps,
Radial basis?

Thank you for trying to improve this program. I'm styding my last year
of my degree and I'm trying to improve this program or create another
slighly different for recognize animal sound under the sea and I'll be
very pleased of you if you can help me and drop me a line explaining
the neural network algorithm that uses the program.

If you feel worried about my English, I'm deeply sorry about it, but
