Life was sweet with SSF II, and MK II. One game that was also fun (but
is not listed) was the 3D fighter, Ballz. I also played the crap out
of MK 1, and NBA Live 95. :-)

I was a huge SMKer nationwide, but I also enjoyed playing NBA Jam TE
against some of the local talent. I sucked at Madden, and I was just
average at games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

Hey $D!  I remember you on the top ten!  My buddy "Justin Clark" aka "Nightshift" used to play you a lot, along with some of the locals around here like Blue Thunder and Raging Demon.  Almost everyone from XB in Maryland have all kept in touch over the years and still play in a few arcades (or X-Box live) from time to time.  Good to that we're all still kickin.

What about Eddy Vitkauskus (sp?)? Was he Raging Demon, or was that
someone else?

Yup!  Eddie is still around.  He doesn't have Internet access, but I'll tell him you said hi.  Mandarin (another SMK player) just came home from Japan yesterday, completing his 5 year tour in the Air Force.  He's big into Halo on xbox live.  And yes, Eddie is also raging demon.
