Committee Meeting due on the 29th June 2014

Dear Members, 

We were due to have our Committee meeting on the 29th June, 2014 in Guwahati as decided but I see that the Work  decided in our last meeting is still in the process of completion. I believe we should first get them on track before proceeding further for which I seek your  vote of acceptance to hold the meeting on a later date so as to  first get our foundation strong with respect to Registering of our chapter under the Societies Act and Bank Account opening before proceeding further with our tentative agenda of Fund Raising and a Cultural Event. 

This shall even give us time enough to ponder upon the tentative agenda and its way of conduction, which can then be discussed in the meeting where in I propose to Invite other member to be present from our chapter for a more insightful discussion. 

We may though hold a meeting in the 1st or 2nd week of July if you all so decide upon in order to speed up the foundation laying work as we would have to get together after making and receiving the approval of the proposed from Calcutta, for signing in the required forms for the registration purpose.

Dear Pooja

I think it is a wise decision to defer our next meeting as suggested by you. I have texted you my suggestions as far as our objectives or purposes are concerned.
It would help if we saw what and how have other Chapters set their objectives.Any feedback from Mr Hasan ?

I am afraid I missed the deadline I had set. I stay in a flood prone area here and the 4 days of rain messed up schedules.

Pending formal registration etc we can always continue to meet albeit informally, till our body gels and other members thoughts are taken also.

Mr Hasan has asked us to send him the mail which he would then approve and send back, as mentioned to you over our telephonic conversation. About the advert he mentioned that he would try his level best and would be sending us the soft copy and hard copy of the Letter soon as well. 

Looking forward to taking the entire registration work ahead soon.
