Minutes of the Second Meeting of the Working Committee members of SXCAA North-East Chapter, held on 25th March, 2014 at Guwahati

· Meeting called to order by the Chair.
· The minutes of the last meeting on 27th April, 2014 was read and confirmed.
· Members welcomed Vikram Aditya Chaudhury (VC), who suggested that an advertisement be given in Assam Tribune to create awareness about SXCAA-NEC amongst ex-Xaverians from this region. Members welcomed this suggestion and Ms. Pooja Sutodiya took the responsibility of seeing it through with the help and guidance of Mr. Hasan in Kolkata. This would help in membership drive.
· Mr. Sanjay Bajpai agreed to sponsor the letter pads and envelopes of the chapter on finalization of the address.
· In order to give a definite purpose to the Chapter, members opined that by-laws of the Chapter should be drawn up. It was decided to take the guidance from Kolkata and other centres like Singapore etc. where such chapters have come up. Ms. Pooja Sutodiya to co-ordinate.
· Ms. Pooja Sutodiya proposed that Ms. Asad Ahmed, senior most of the working committee members, be appointed as ADVISOR to the Chapter. Mr. Vikram Aditya Chaudhury seconded this proposal.
· Mr. Jaswinder Singh who was absent today and sent his regret was proposed to be appointed as Treasurer, Ms. Pooja Sutodiya suggested that Mr. Anil Jain be appointed as Financial Advisor. The formalities of these two appointments to be finalized in the next meeting.
. Mr Harshad Sanganeria was appreciated by all members for his Good work in starting the Membership drive using Social-media. And all members proposed to promote the same on their social networks.
