Important ! National Meet - Goa

Hello Xaverians,

It the time of the year when we are a week away from the National Meet
in Goa. Hundred Fifty to Two hundred Xaverians would gather and
rejoice together with their loved ones, it would be one of the most
spirited event one could be a part of.

As we understand that not many from our chapter can make it in person
due to valid reason, I still wish to make you a part of it. This is
how :-

1. Send in a message you wish to share with them all at the meet.
2. Send in message you wish to be quoted to someone specific amongst
all present.
3. send in pictures from your school and college days with a caption,
you wish to share.
4. Send in your 'Point of View with a suggestion', with respect to the
agenda of Vision
2020 and we shall put it up at the appropriate time in an
appropriate manner.
5. Send in anything you wish to share with your fellow mates

Distance is no reason to be Distant. Make your presence felt !!

I look forward to receiving your messages and for those who think can
make it now, its never late. Get in touch with me and I shall try my
level best to get it all arranged with the group leaving from
Calcutta.

Dear Member,

Season’s Greetings from St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni
Association (SXCCAA).


Please be informed that the First edition of National Convention of
your very own SXCCAA is going to be held at GOA from 15th – 18th May
2015. This National Convention scheduled after the successful
completion of 5 back-to-back Beyond Boundaries – the International
Conventions of the Association namely in Bangkok, Dubai, Singapore,
London & Melbourne. Like those 5 editions of Beyond Boundaries, this
National Convention will include all possible
Fellowship-cum-Networking Activities & above all, it will emphasize
upon chalking the roadmap of successful accomplishment of SXC Vision
2020, as conceived by the President of our Association, Rev. Fr. Dr.
J. Felix Raj SJ – all of us are the integral part of such noble
initiative.



A tentative itinerary of the same will look like as follows:



15th May 2015, Friday –Check in at Hotel Cidade de Goa, Vainguinim Beach, Goa.

6pm – 7pm - Registration.

7pm onwards - Welcome Dinner along with Musical Program



16th May 2015, Saturday – Breakfast at Hotel & Proceed for Conference.



Inaugural session

10am – 11am – Inaugural

11am – 11:15am – Tea / Coffee Break

11:15am – 12:30pm – Pre Lunch Session

12:30pm – 1:30pm – Lunch Break (at the Conference venue)

1:30pm – 3:15pm – Post Lunch Session

3:15pm – 3:30pm – Tea / Coffee Break

Evening Session

7pm Onwards – Felicitation Program, followed by Cultural Program & Gala Dinner.



17th May 2015, Sunday – Breakfast at Hotel.

11:00am – 12:30pm - All Chapter Meet – Discussion on Vision 2020 Roadmap

12:30pm – 1:30pm - Lunch Break

01.30pm onwards – Departure for City Tour, Bom Jesus Basilica for pay homage

to St. Francis Xavier followed by Mandovi River Cruise in the evening.

08:00pm Onwards – Musical program followed by Farewell Dinner.



18th May 2015, Monday - Breakfast at Hotel followed by Group transfer
to Goa Airport.



Note: Detailed minute-to-minute program schedule will be circulated later.



This is the first time since the inception of SXCCAA that we are
coming up with such kind of meet. We have already received great
feedbacks & expecting an overwhelming response from all of you, so
that a good number of fellow members of SXCCAA can spend time together
with their families during the summer vacation.



The Package Rates, Booking Information & other details are as follows:



1) Option 1: Rs. 32,000/- per person in Twin Sharing / Double
Occupancy Basis, which includes to & fro CCU-GOI-CCU Airfare; Airport
transfer in group to and from hotel; 3 nights Hotel Accommodations
with All Meals; Conference, Entertainment programme, Visit Bom Jesus
Basilica for pay homage to St. Francis Xavier, Mandovi River Cruise.



2) Option 2: Rs. 16,500/- per person in Twin Sharing / Double
Occupancy Basis, which includes 3 nights Hotel Accommodations Hotel
with All Meals, Conference, Entertainment programme, Visit Bom Jesus
Basilica for pay homage to St. Francis Xavier, Mandovi River Cruise.



3) Option 3: Rs. 6,500/- per person, which includes Welcome Dinner
on 15th May, Conference with Lunch at Conference Venue on 16th May,
Cultural Program & Gala Dinner on 16th May, Lunch with Group on 17th
May, Visit Bom Jesus Basilica for pay homage to St. Francis Xavier,
Mandovi River Cruise, Musical program followed by Farewell Dinner on
17th May.



Please note that the rates for single occupancy / child with extra bed
/ child without extra bed will be informed later. Booking amounts are
given below:–



For Option 1: Rs. 20,000 per person and Option 2: Rs. 10,000 per
person. Cheques are required to be issued in favour of "Gainwell
Enterprises Pvt Ltd.". For booking details contact our authorized
travel partner Gainwell – Ms. Bishakha (+91 98302 91298), Ms. Seema
(+91 98302 84283) and Mr. Rajesh Bhagat (+91 89264 60822)



For Option 3: Rs. 6500/- per person cheque are required to be issued
in favour of “St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association”.



We have blocked limited group tickets. As we have limited time left
for the Gala event, so the members are requested to book their tickets
at the earliest. The booking would be made on first come first basis.

A great pity I shan't be in the 'midst' of my Fellow Xaverians for the
National Convention due to
staged in Goa.
I wish to convey:"TO ALL MY FELLOW XAVERIANS WHO WILL BE PRESENT AT
THE NATIONAL CONVENTION IN GOA.
