Please find enclosed the Minutes of the Meeting for 1st National Meet GOA May 2015:

1. The Objective of having 1st National Meet at GOA in May 2015 is (a) larger participation of the members of SXCCAA (mainly the National Chapters) for orientation & awareness of SXC Vision 2020, (b) Paying homage to our Patron Saint Francis Xavier at Bom Jesus Basilica at Old Goa & holding a Mass, (c) Creating an ambiance for holding serious discussions on road ahead for SXCCAA's contribution to SXC Vision 2020 & networking-fellowship.

2. The dates for the 1st National Meet GOA has been finalized as 15, 16, 17 May 2015. The Group of Xaverians & their family members will assemble at GOA hotel on 15th May & start returning to their respective destinations on 18th May after breakfast. The tentative preliminary itinerary will look like as follows:

Day1 - 15th May Friday: Assemble at GOA hotel & proceed for inaugural dinner

Day2 - 16th May Saturday: National Seminar in the Morning Session, Post Seminar Goa sight-seeing & Enjoy Goa Night Life

Day3 - 17th May Sunday: Goa sight-seeing. Mass at Bom Jesus Basilica at Old Goa between 4pm to 6pm & Enjoy Goa Night Life.

Day4 - 18th May Monday: Groups disburse after breakfast & proceed to their respective destinations.

3. Being aligned with the objective of the National Meet, there is expectation of more & more participation of Xaverians from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & North-East Chapters, so the Chapter Coordinators are requested to prepare a comprehensive database of the Xaverians already associated to these chapters as well as the Xaverians still not approaced or not reached yet. Mr. Sanjay Goel of Mumbai Chapter & Mr. Hunaid Topiwala of Bangalore Chapter are requested to take a bit extra initiative in identifying Xaverians of Goa & approach them for greater participation. They are also requested to explore the option of inviting the GOA Chief Minister or for that matter Hon'ble Vice President of India (a Xaverian himself) and find out publicity options.

4. Father Felix Raj has kindly consented to pursue the matter of inviting local prominent jesuit community members & take permission for Mass at Bom Jesus Basilica between 4pm to 6pm slot.

With these points, the National Meet Advisors, Conveners & Chapter Coordinators are requested to give their valuable inputs for making the event a grand success & ensure maximum participation. The quotation from travel agents have started arriving at SXCCAA office, so in case of any suggestions / alternative affordable options, all concerned are requested to revert back with their valuable inputs in this regard by Tuesday 6th January 2015.
