FYI, there's been a rather lively discussion of XAuth on the OpenID
mailing lists recently (both the obvious subject lines and the
unfortunately named "has hit the fan" thread):

Yes, I edited the subject line a bit too late. Sorry about that. But
there is some good discussion on the list (especially Allen Tom's
post) along with some... well, I'll just say that Sturgeon's Law is
alive and well.

I'm also posting relevant issues that pop up from that thread as
individual threads over here.
