how can I disable the second block to display only the list?

Looks like there's a problem somewhere there. Things I would check:

1. Try clearing out your templates_c directory, in case it is a cache issue.

2. Check the browser javascript console for errors, as there may be something that is erroring out and breaking the formatting.
