Export with excel format is not working for me.
I'm using us version of excel 2010.
All fields are in the same cell, so for each row I got one cell (the tab delimeter are not working for me).
And the encoding is still not correct : "Pas d adh逳ion" or Esp耣es

Is there something to do within excel ?

This issue is with the excel-friendly-cvs-file.
[export_csv]
    format=excel

the module seems to work only with
2.0.4, is it already downloadable ?

I haven't put together a release yet, but you can download the latest from github.

I've an error in excel when I tried to open the xls file.
It tell that the file is in a different format than specified by the extension, verify that the file is not corrupted.
I'm using office 2010.

By the way, the export in XLS is not listed in the related table, it appear only in the main table.

Yes.  This hasn't been implemented yet for related lists - only actual lists.  However, looking at the code it looks like it should actually work if you just add the appropriate connections in your actions.ini file.  E.g.  Try adding the following to your application's actions.ini file:

[export_xls_related > export_csv_related]
    url = "{$this->url('-action=excel_export_xls')}&--related=1"
label = "Export XLS"
description = "Export the current result a Microsoft Excel (XLS) file"

I haven't tested this at all so if it doesn't work, I leave it to you to figure out how to tweak it so that it works.

Ok, Now I can export the related table.

But Does it need a specific version of excel ?

I've tested it with Excel 2010 on windows and Excel 2011 on Mac OSX and it doesn't work, excel can't open the XLS file, i've the following error: the file xxxx is in a different format than specified by th efile extension, verify that the file is nor corrupt .....

You might be outputting some extra content somewhere.  Open the excel file in a text editor to see if there is any garbage at the beginning or end.

Make sure you don't echo anything from your index file
