preallocating/appending datasets with different timeframes to same dataset

Dear users,

in the attempt of funneling all my (.txt) measured data into a netcdf file, I am attempting to append different dataArrays having different data frames (sampled at different moments in time).

So basically inside the same dataset, I want to add "actual measurements" sampled every 10 minutes AND monitoring data (regarding the instrument) sampled every hour.

I am unsure about how to go for this. Any advice?
