So, yesterday I bought a used Gigabyte RX 570 for my girlfriends PC. The PC booted fine a couple of times in which time i had installed the latest AMD WHQL drivers and ran 3D Mark to verify the GPU - all is good.

I then begin to install the Gigabyte software (Auros Engine the the RGB software). I also open Radeon software change a couple of settings including reducing the power limit to -20% (electricity is expensive and the RX570 is more powerful than needed for the games she plays) and turning on Radeon Chill. I then download DDU so as to clean the system of the Nvidia drivers which would have still be installed.

If the driver listed is not the right version or operating system, search our driver archive for the correct version. Enter ASUS P8Z77-V LE PLUS into the search box above and then submit. In the results, choose the best match for your PC and operating system.

Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

The install CD is quick and painless - one click of 'InstAll' will get you all the drivers needed, and if a user selects to customize their install, it allows selection and de-selection of various software features (anti-virus et al.).

I saw on the internet that I needed the drivers from another pendrive to fix this. I tried to download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology, but the drivers weren't compatible with my computer, since they are for the 11th generation. I need someone to help me get the drivers compatible with my processor, please.

It is worth mentioning that Intel only provides generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Therefore, the usual recommendation is to use the customized drivers provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and to contact the OEM for the latest system-specific updates and technical support information validated for your system.

We checked the ASUS* website for your ASUS* motherboard, and it seems there are no Windows* 10-compatible Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) drivers available on their website. Based on the information on their website, it seems they only offer Intel RST drivers up to Windows 8.1.

In this case, our recommendation is to review this further with ASUS* Support to confirm operating system (OS) compatibility with Windows 10 and if they have any recommended Intel RST driver validated for your system and this OS version. In addition, they may also assist you with OS installation issues in case there is another problem causing this behavior.

We used Microsoft Windows 8 Enterprise 64 bit (Microsoft Windows, Version 6.2, Build 9200) operating system, Intel Chipset Device Software driver package version 9.3.0.1026, AMD Catalyst 13.1 graphics card driver.

Thanks so much for your response. Sounds like a lot of hassle for little reward: buying new hardware, selling the old stuff, building the system, trouble shooting issues and drivers, installing the OS, software, and tweaking everything just to gain a few seconds.

The Asus P8Z77-V Pro package is fairly comprehensive. Along with the obligatory SATA cables, I/O shield, manual, and driver CD, Asus includes a 802.11n adapter with external antenna, a SLI/CrossFireX bridge, a rear USB 3.0/eSATA breakout panel, and their famous Q-connectors that make plugging in the tiny cables from the front panel infinitely easier.
