Test results of Xar vs. other archivers

I just posted a blog entry that examined all the various archivers for
Mac files to get them safely backed up and restored to/from a foreign
filesystem. I included xar in the testing, and was disappointed to see
that it failed to capture extended attributes, even though they're
listed as being supported.

I logged issues for this, but I thought I'd bring it up here in case
it was worthy of further discussion.

In any case, count me in for testing xar releases. I'm working on
building from the CVS head right now.

That's interesting, because for the macos-x-server list wiki I just
