I've been reviewing/rewriting part of my code, and I still have to review stuff... but I put it on GitHub so you can see it if you're interested:

Some differences with the current reference impleentation:

• I instantiate things differently because sometimes I want to have more than one video on the same page, and they should track correctly. In the example code, there are 2 videos.
  
• I use the State API to save/load  the played_segments, progress, and currentTime.
  
• I call  an 'initialize' function to set up various things. I want to avoid hardcoding the Object definition name and description in the library itself.
  
• the activityID I use is not based on the video source name
  
• ...
  

I think that's it. The core things (calculating progress, played_segments etc. are just the same as in the reference implementation).

I am confused, has YouTube removed Hangouts on Air option on live streaming? 

I am not able to start the meeting the way I used to.
