Xaos - Can't use "Record"-function

Hi,

nice i found this group here, perhaps i can find help here.

I have two systems running both on Archlinux. On both systems the "Record"-funtion does not work.

The following happens:

I press "S" to get into save-mode, then choose "Record". A windows pops up. The window has no own info, it copies the graphics (the mandelbrot-picture) and stays like that. I can move the windows around. ESC closes this window.

I assume that the window should produce a fileselector-box. Other functions that should open or create files have the same habit.

I have used the Archlinux-version, but have also compiled an own Version by using Github, qmake 6 and make. No Fileselector is shown.

Do you have any tips what can be done to get this running?
