XaoS 4.3.7 + 30 Years of XaoS: update

I am happy to inform you that version 4.3.7 is out. Here is the official announcement:

The Google Summer of Code program is progressing well. Avinash Sharma, a student from India, is working on a new interface designed for tablets and mobile devices. You can find the experimental executable, XaoSMobile.exe, in the Windows installer and ZIP package. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

The XaoS Project celebrates its 30th anniversary on 19 September 2026 in České Budějovice, Czech Republic (also known as Budweis, the home of Budweiser beer). More information is available at https://xaos.app/30/.

We are planning the meeting as a hybrid event so that those who cannot  attend in person can still participate. Please let us know by email if you plan to attend.

We are going to welcome Dr. Jonathan Wolfe as a contributing speaker on the topic "XaoS and the Fractal Foundation – bringing math to life for students around the world". Jonathan Wolfe, Ph.D. is the Founder and Executive Director of the Fractal Foundation, a New Mexico nonprofit that uses the beauty of fractals to inspire interest in science, math and art. With a scientific background in visual neurophysiology, and an international reputation as the artist behind the Flying Fractals hot air balloons, Dr. Wolfe is ideally suited to promote both the beauty and the intellectual impact of fractals. He uses computer technology, including XaoS, to bring math to life for audiences young and old. He has taught over 75,000 children and over 600 teachers about fractals, and he is the creator of the popular First Friday Fractals fulldome show at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science which has been licensed to planetariums all over the world. He is also the co-founder and former CTO of the privacy-first social network platform MeWe, and he helped design and build the educational software platform for the international Project ECHO community.
