New issue 53 by ajvincent: Support multi-core CPU's?
http://code.google.com/p/gnuxaos/issues/detail?id=53

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Dive deep in XAOS.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I see 1 core in use. On my quad-core system, I hope to specify more than
one core for XAOS.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

xaos-3.5-1.fc12 (x86_64), Fedora 14 Linux.

Multithread support can be built in. Were you using a multithreaded biuld
which ceased to use the extra cores under deep zooms, or is your build not
using multiple cores at all?

Some discussion of multithread support can be found at...

...it's for windows rather than Linux, but the premise should be the same.
