Session is becoming Null when redirect from http to https://www.digisys-solutions.com

Am trying to redirect url from
http://www.digisys-solutions.com
To
https://www.digisys-solutions.com
Once url transfer to https://www.digisys-solutions.com - my all session values are getting NULL and don't know why?
After doing research, came to know that this requires server settings and if anyone knows, please help me out.
This is not on Digisys Solutions server but on client's server. Client is using 2003 server and going to upgrade it soon.
